Qualcomm and Microsoft Collaborate with Leading Retailers to Distribute Always Connected PCs to Consumers

The Snapdragon-powered Always Connected PC is designed to bring the best smartphone features to their PCs

Qualcomm Technologies Inc. and Microsoft jointly announced that leading retailers from across the world will offer a range of new Microsoft Always Connected Windows 10 PCs powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile PC Platform.

“New Windows 10 PCs powered by the Snapdragon Mobile PC platform are optimized to deliver new and innovative mobile computing features including up to Gigabit speeds, always on connectivity**, ‘instant on functionality’ and beyond ‘all day’ battery life packed into beautifully designed thin and light 2:1 form factors,” said Don McGuire, VP, Global Product Marketing, Qualcomm Technologies.

“Consumers around the world will be able to experience first hand how the Snapdragon-powered Always Connected PC is designed to bring the best smartphone features to their PC.”

Beginning this calendar quarter, these Always Connected PCs are expected to be available online and hitting store shelves at the following leading retailers:

* U.S.A – Amazon, Microsoft Stores.
* Australia – Microsoft Stores.
* China – JD.com.
* Italy – Unieuro.
* France – Boulanger, Fnac.
* U.K. – Asus Stores, BT Shop, John Lewis, Microsoft Stores, PC World.
