AppWANs provides enterprise-grade security, improves performance and simplifies network management

NetFoundry announced its NetFoundry AppWANs is available as an integrated on-ramp to Microsoft Azure.

The NetFoundry AppWAN solution makes it simple, secure and cost-effective to connect to Azure, enabling businesses to connect with an all-software solution in minutes. NetFoundry is available to pilot customers today, starting as a free trial. Azure Virtual WAN functions as a managed site-to-site and site-to-VNET networking solution.

NetFoundry has worked with Microsoft to ensure simple, integrated provisioning between Azure Virtual WAN and NetFoundry AppWANs. As a result, AppWANs provides enterprise-grade security, improves performance and simplifies network management.

Combined, the NetFoundry AppWAN and Microsoft Azure Virtual WAN provides customers with an on-demand solution capable of functioning as a global WAN with optimized Azure connectivity. Businesses run NetFoundry AppWAN endpoints directly on user devices, in branch offices and in private data centers. The endpoints then connect as a global overlay network, using existing Internet connections.
