In Wake of Cyber Attack Global Tech Leaders Set to Gather in Monaco
The data center and cloud leadership summit Datacloud Europe 2017 will host some of the biggest names in tech to access the future paradigm of ICT infrastructure.
Datacloud Europe, which meets this June 6-8 in Monaco, will feature a look at the critical eco system of cloud connectivity, fiber networks and data centers as the utilities to the world’s businesses in light of recent cyber threats.
The WannaCry ransomware attack on critical infrastructure has raised awareness of the need to properly access threats and understand how it will affect the data center.
“As the leading summit for mission critical decision makers, experts and innovators we are delighted to welcome two true pacesetters in the space; Hossein Fateh, founder of CloudHQ and Chema Alonso, chief data officer at Telefonica,” commented Philip Low chairman of BroadGroup, the organisers of Datacloud.

Hossein Fateh co-founded DuPont Fabros Development (DFD) in 1997 and leveraging his data center expertise and success, he has now founded CloudHQ, a next generation data center provider to capture the continued demand for global requirements of Fortune 1000 customers.
Chema Alonso is the current chief data officer at Telefonica. He was previously founder and CEO of Eleven Paths, an affiliate of Telefonica Digital focused on security products innovation, and also General Director for the Global Security Business in the B2B unit at Telefonica Business Solutions.
The enterprise driven programme for the international forum and exhibition, now in its 14th year with 60 countries represented, will extensively draw on business users from financial services, transport, auto, media and gaming, pharmaceutical, retail, oil and gas, telco and other key verticals, and how they are responding to the challenges of energy, security, connectivity, interoperability, and using cloud-enabled, continuous delivery and DevOps lifecycles for faster rollout of new features and applications and sustaining business innovation.
