Horizontal Integration has named Manish Kapoor, a 27-year Information Technology and e-commerce veteran, as General Manager of HI’s Digital Agency presence in India.

The move strengthens HI’s ability to serve Indian businesses who are looking for the kind of marketing personalization and efficiency delivered by an HI Sitecore implementation.

As a Platinum Partner of Sitecore, HI made the move in response to demand from clients in India. The move is also welcomed by Sitecore, a leader in customer experience management and multichannel marketing automation, which is looking forward to making further inroads into the Indian market with HI and Kapoor leading the charge.

Kapoor, with a background in electronics engineering and sales, worked for many major IT and software firms in India before launching his own e-commerce startup, meragrocer.com. His company was later acquired by Spencers Retail, where he served after the acquisition as CTO. Kapoor will be headquartered out of HI’s Bangalore office and responsible for oversight and delivery of HI Digital Agency services in the Indian market.
