Goa CM Introduces the Indian Farmer Community with Jai Kisaan App

Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar launched a one-step mobile solution for farmers called the Jai Kisaan App.

With an aim to propel the Digital India initiative, Adventz Group introduced the app by celebrating the Golden Jubilee of Jai Kisaan at its Youth for Tomorrow talent search fest for school kids. The solution engages farmers on a technology platform providing multiple features aiding their requirements regarding horticulture.

The Jai Kisaan App has been developed keeping in mind the required information and knowledge which helps in performing agricultural activities such as crop cultivation and fertilizer calculator. The free of cost app infuses information about products, practices and services involving real time access to advice from agriculture experts on concerned issues, soil testing, weather forecast and access to commodity market prices. Apart from all the services, farmers will also be introduced to Advantz Group’s product range.

Chief Guest at the launch, CM Parrikar congratulated Adventz Group’s company Zuari for its initiatives on sustainable solutions and CSR activities of inclusive growth and development for the betterment of the farming community for last 20 years in Goa. He also mentioned that apart from engagement features, the app will also aid the farmers with various government initiatives for rural households such as health cards, etc. Jai Kisaan app has been released with a target of creating a user base of 10,000 by March next year.

Although the mobile app, wholly designed for agricultural purposes will be covering comprehensive range of solutions but farmers need to be introduced to new age technology to apply the benefits in the field. Consequently, Adventz has announced it will be partnering with companies to develop and introduce farmers with security software for mobile.
