Facemoji Keyboard app introduces Augmented Reality emoji feature

The app uses the front facing camera of your smartphone to match the emoji to your face. Along with the new AR emoji, the app is also getting AR filters

Facemoji announced the launch of its latest feature – the AR Emoji. While only a limited number of users could otherwise get their hands on personalized AR emojis, the latest feature update will allow all the users of Facemoji keyboard to come up with cute, fun, AR-powered emojis of their own.

Following the feature updated, users of the keyboard can create GIFs or photos of themselves as animated unicorns, pineapples, pizza, or one of two babies. The app uses the front facing camera of your smartphone to match the emoji to your face. Along with the new AR emoji, the app is also getting AR filters, just like the face filters available at Snapchat. These filters at Facemoji keyboard include kitty ears, a dog’s face, bunny ears and a lot more.

In addition to the AR Emoji feature, Facemoji keyboard has been winning hearts all over the world, with its stellar collection of customizable keyboard skins, a wealth of in-built emojis, GIFs, kaomojis, stickers and more. On the occasion of the World Emoji Day, the Facemoji team designed new emojis, including the moon cake, firecracker and red envelope. It also enables users with smart auto-correct and emoji prediction while chatting, thus ensuring an intuitive and easy chatting experience.
